Ála & Vojta

I was really looking forward to this wedding. After all, I’ve known Ála and Vojta for over ten years (they’ve been together even longer!), so I knew it was going to be one wild ride. Luckily, the main protagonists managed to avoid Covid (written 2020), and nothing stood in the way of a wedding weekend at Háječek farm.
 

The celebrations began gently on Friday evening with close family and friends, but the main program truly kicked off on Saturday. Thankfully, no one minded a bit of light rain, and the newlyweds said their I do’s during a beautiful church ceremony, accompanied by Red Hot Chili Peppers songs performed by a band of their friends. I’ll admit, even I had to work hard not to get too emotional and stay focused on my job.
 

The celebration continued into the early morning hours, when a DJ from the Netherlands took over after the band. Absolutely everyone danced — children and grandparents alike — which meant a real feast for me as a wedding photographer. See for yourself!
